WiseUnit wins Startup World Cup Kosovo 2026
WiseUnit won Startup World Cup Kosovo 2026 at KosICT Tech Festival. What the competition is, what we pitched and what happens next in San Francisco.

Kosovo’s first Startup World Cup round
WiseUnit has won Startup World Cup Kosovo 2026. The final took place on October 10, 2026. It was the first time the competition came to Kosovo, and the round was held at KosICT Tech Festival 2026, the country’s technology festival.
Prishtina REA, the Prishtina Regional Enterprise Agency, brought the competition to Kosovo as its Official Country Partner. Their aim is to give Kosovo founders a direct route to international investors and venture capital networks that are hard to reach from a small market.
We are grateful to Prishtina REA for making the Kosovo round happen, to Pegasus Tech Ventures for trusting them with it, and to KosICT for hosting it.
What Startup World Cup is
Startup World Cup is a global startup competition organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures, a venture capital firm in Silicon Valley. It runs more than 200 regional competitions across North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.
Each regional winner goes on to the Grand Finale in San Francisco, where startups pitch to a large investor audience. The overall winner receives a $1,000,000 investment.
- Semi-finals: November 4, 2026, at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square.
- Grand Finale: November 6, 2026, at the same venue.
- Format: 4 minutes to pitch, then 2 minutes of questions from the judges.
- Ten finalists are chosen from the semi-finals to pitch on the main stage.
What we pitched
WiseUnit is an AI receptionist for small businesses. It answers every call 24/7 on the business’s own phone number, answers questions from the facts and documents the business approves, books appointments into Google Calendar, Calendly or Cal.com, and transfers the calls that need a person.
The problem we pitched is a simple one. In a repair shop, a dental practice or a spa, the people who could answer the phone are usually busy with a customer. Calls go to voicemail, and many of those callers try the next business instead.
Every call ends in an outcome the team can act on: a confirmed booking, an answered question, a transfer or a callback request with the reason, the preferred time and a priority.
If you are new to the idea, start with what an AI receptionist is and how it works.
From Kosovo to San Francisco
As the Kosovo winner, WiseUnit goes on to the Startup World Cup Grand Finale in San Francisco in November. We will represent Kosovo there alongside regional winners from around the world.
For us, the win is also a sign that a product built in Kosovo can compete for small businesses in the United States, Italy and the German-speaking countries, the markets we serve today.
What this means for our customers
Nothing changes in the product because of the competition. We keep doing the same work: making the receptionist answer more accurately, book more reliably and hand off the right calls to your team.
If you have been meaning to try it, now is a good time. Plans start at €119 a month excluding VAT, or €99 a month on annual billing, with unlimited receptionists on every plan.
See how it works on the AI receptionist page, or compare plans on the pricing page.
